Important allergy notice

​

If you or your child has a food allergy, food intolerance, coeliac disease, or any dietary requirement, you must inform us before ordering and before any food is consumed.

Our food is prepared in a working kitchen environment. While we take care with food preparation and allergen information, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment and there is always a risk of cross-contact.

1. Customer responsibility

It is the responsibility of the customer, parent, guardian, or party organiser to:

• tell us clearly about any allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement before ordering;

• check that the food ordered is suitable before it is consumed;

• make sure any child in their care only consumes food that is suitable for them.

If a parent, guardian, or organiser purchases food without informing us of an allergy or dietary issue, Party & Play will not accept responsibility for that failure to disclose.

2. Our allergen information

We aim to provide allergen information for our food and drink items.

If you need allergen information, please ask a member of staff before ordering. If you are unsure, do not order until you have checked with us.

3. Cross-contact risk

Although we take reasonable care in handling food, we prepare food in shared kitchen and service areas. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of allergens.

4. Party bookings and food orders

For birthday parties, private events, and group bookings, the booking organiser is responsible for giving us accurate allergy and dietary information for all guests before food is ordered or served.

If allergy information is not provided in advance, we may not be able to safely prepare suitable food options.

5. Food ordered by parents or organisers

By ordering food from Party & Play, the parent, guardian, customer, or organiser confirms that they have checked suitability as far as needed and accept responsibility for choosing food that is appropriate for the person who will consume it.

6. If in doubt

If you have any doubts at all about ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, or cross-contact, please do not order until you have spoken to a member of staff.
